HONORARY DISTINCTION OF PROFESSORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE AND NUTRITION
We are pleased to announce that a total of 3 professors from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition are included in the 2% of the most influential researchers worldwide in Food Science and related Sciences (Agriculture, Biotechnology), according to the recent publication of the Elsevier publishing house and Stanford University (USA) professor John P.A. Ioannidis (16/9/2024, https://elsevier.digitalcommonsdata.com/datasets/btchxktzyw/7).
Specifically, Mr. Dimitrios Makris and Stavros Lalas are included in the list of the top 2% based on their entire career data, while Mr. Dimitrios Makris and Ioannis Giavasis are in the corresponding list of the top 2% for the year 2023 (as well as for previous years).
This publication confirms the high level of research conducted in our Department, which is internationally recognized, with distinctions such as this one.
