THREE PROFESSORS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE AND NUTRITION RANKED IN THE TOP 2% OF INFLUENTIAL RESEARCHERS WORLDWIDE
We are pleased to announce that three professors from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition are included in the top 2% of the most influential researchers worldwide in the field of Food Science and related disciplines (Agri-food, Biotechnology), according to a recent publication by Elsevier and Professor John P.A. Ioannidis of Stanford University (USA) (September 16, 2024, link).
Specifically, Mr. Dimitrios Makris and Mr. Stavros Lalas are included in the top 2% list based on their career-long contributions, while Mr. Dimitrios Makris and Mr. Ioannis Yavasis are featured in the corresponding top 2% list for the year 2023 (as well as in previous years).
This publication confirms the high level of research conducted in our Department, which is internationally recognized with honors such as this one.
