PARTICIPATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE AND NUTRITION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THESSALY AT THE AGROTHESSALY EXHIBITION AND PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH PROJECTS AND COLLABORATIONS
The Department of Food Science and Nutrition of the University of Thessaly participated in the Agrothessaly exhibition from March 6-9 in Larissa, presenting innovative products, awards and distinctions it has received, as well as key elements of its academic program. The department was represented by Professors Ioannis Giavasis, Theodore Goulas, Myrsini Kakagianni, and students of the department. On Sunday, March 9, the Department’s President, Mr. Giavasis, also presented at a symposium of the School of Agricultural Sciences, discussing the department’s research interests, research projects, and recent collaborations with food production and processing companies, which are detailed on the department’s website.
