“Ms. Gioldasi Xanthi, Head of the “CONSUMER PROTECTION CONTROLS” DEPARTMENT of the Thessaly Regional Directorate of EFET, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, gave the lecture on the topic:
“The responsibilities of EFET in official food control” within the framework of the course “Food legislation and nutritional policy” of the 8th semester.”
Ms. Xanthi Gioldasi, Head of the “Consumer Protection Control Department” of the Thessaly Regional Directorate of EFET, gave a lecture on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, titled: “EFET’s Responsibilities in Official Food Control” as part of the course “Food Legislation and Nutritional Policy” in the 8th semester. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Gioldási for her presentation and the engaging discussion that followed with students and professors of the Department.
On 22-4-2024, a visit was made by students from the Department of Dietetics – Nutrition of the University of Thessaloniki to the Department’s laboratories (Laboratory of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Lab. of Food Chemistry – Analytical Chemistry), accompanied by Mr. Tsirogiannis Georgia and Hasiotis Markellas, as part of the course “Food Microbiology”.
1) Evidence integration in the IATA framework, focusing on the AOP informed IATA approach on NAMs to address the data gaps identified during the iterative process – Virtual seminar under topic 3: Use of new-approach methodologies (e.g. in-silico and in-vitro tools) in chemical risk assessment
